Category definitions:
Young Member – persons aged 26 – 30yrs. - will carry Full Membership privileges.
Intermediate Member – persons aged between 18 – 25 yrs. - will carry Full membership privileges with the exception of voting rights.
Student Member – persons aged 18 – 25 yrs. being in full time education or on an approved apprentice scheme and will carry Full membership privileges with the exception of voting rights.
Junior Member - Junior members (boys) possessing an Official Club Handicap of 18 or less are eligible to take part in all Club competitions with the exception of the Majors where a handicap of 12 or less is required. Junior members (girls) are eligible according to L.G.U. Rules, but remain subject to rules governing juniors where applicable.
Associate Member – applicants must be a full member of another golf club with a current handicap certificate. Associate members are only be able to play the course on weekdays and are not eligible to play in Club competitions and Club matches other than midweek medals.
Country & Overseas Members - must reside outside a radius of 30 miles from Prestatyn and are not eligible to play in Club competitions and Club matches other than midweek medals.
9 Hole Member - The Category is available by application from persons with a minimum of 20 years full membership in writing to the Honorary Secretary. Acceptance will be subject to approval by the Club Council and subject to availability. Applications will be reviewed on a first come first served basis and continued eligibility reviewed annually. The Category will be restricted at any moment in time to a maximum of 10 persons in total.
The Category is intended to compensate loyal members who due to infirmity or ill health are unable to play a full round. Member’s accepted will lose their voting rights and they will not be eligible to enter any Official Club competition or match, Men’s, Ladies’, or Senior’s.
Honorary Members – playing & non-playing - Members with 50 years unbroken full membership. Both categories carry full membership privileges and Honorary Members may elect to be either playing or non-playing.
New Member offer - Applicants will have full Member privileges with the exception of voting rights and must not have been a member of the Club on or after 31st December 2006
