The 3rd "Bont Newydd"
The third is a relatively short par four of just 322 yards. It features a stream and small pond to catch the poorly-struck drive and with two bunkers to the left and the main Meliden Road to the right an accurate drive is required to hit the fairway. Again an accurately-struck short iron is needed to avoid the trees and bunkers that guard the green. On the back nine the 12th. tee is tight up against the road adding extra pressure to the hole.
