Captain's Message
Having been a member of St Melyd Golf Club for thirty years, I am very proud to have been invited to be your Captain in 2010, especially as it is the year when the golfing community is looking forward to the Ryder Cup being played in the Celtic Manor. I hope that the success of the Ryder Golf increases interest in golf and brings visitors to Welsh golf courses.
The club has enjoyed a successful 2009 with many visiting parties remarking on the views from the course together with the excellent playing conditions. I know that the Council and members will continue working enthusiastically together extolling the merits of our club both on and off the course.
I look forward to playing golf with you all in the coming year and I will endeavour to serve the club with the best of my ability.
